This parcel of Cabernet Sauvignon vines is perfectly situated on the top of a gravel hill with a deep base of blue clay and limestone. Located just north of Saint-Estèphe, this vineyard is adjacent to those owned by Sociando Mallet.

The 2014 Bordeaux wines are said to be full of fruit. Ours has 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Grand Catalie vineyard is the star with Demi-Lune contributing, Le Chateau Merlot and Le Barrail Cabernet Franc round out the blend.

Our second vintage of the Left Bank Blend, we still have a few cases of magnums of this 10 year old classic Bordeaux. 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc made a wine which is gracefully gaining complexity and maturity.
